Advice on community engagement and audience development with Judit Davis

As a follow up interview to the talk we had with Dawn Walton on audience development, we spoke to Judit Davis, who worked as an Audience Ambassador for Eclipse Theatre in Bristol, UK.

Judit speaks about her role, which was to introduce communities who had not engaged in theatre to productions which would later tour in their city.

Audience Ambassadors did this using a variety of engagement methods, discussed in the video, for two Eclipse Theatre productions - Black Men Walking (2018) and Princess and the Hustler (2019).

Judit provides a number of helpful tips and examples for any artists aiming to connect with a potential audience.
